When does school get out for the summer in your area?

June 7th here in Nevada for the 9 month schools!!

I live in Northern CA and my kids last day is June 8th and they go back on August 20th.

FYI the parks will be crowded the last week of June due to the So. CAL annual pass holders having to use the pass for the last few times before their black out...I think the black out starts the 30th of June.

Also the pass holders will be able to return the 3rd week in August..

So it will be especially crazy then.

Higley AZ schools are out 5/25 - and we do go back early August.

Where I teach in Western WA, we are getting out June 20th (21st for us teachers). We were supposed to get out June 15th, but like the poster from Snohomish, we, too, have snow make-up days!

I wish that I had grown up in Arizona - you guys get out so early!
Up here, north of Seattle, our kids were scheduled to get out on June 19th, but we just had our 8th snow day last week, and are now scheduled to go until AT LEAST June 22nd!
The kids go back to school two days after Labor Day (which is when we get home from our latest trip to Disneyland!)

In Tucson, it 'used' to be the first week in June. They changed to the last week in May to save $$ on A.C. (I think)

Most schools in TX finish up either 5/25 or sometime the following week. Next year it's state law that we can't start school before the last Monday in August, so 8/27 is the day we go back.
