*When Does Registration Fill For the Half Marathon?

I know registration opens on January 7th for next year's Marathon. Does anyone know about when the registration fills? I don't know if I'm ready to commit next week, but I really want to try to run it next year!

Hey--if you go to the WISH boards--you will find lots of support for your long distance endeavors....

Typically it fills up sometime in the summer (this time it did fill earlier than in prior years). I believe the half usually fills up before the full.

If you don't sign up next week..no biggie--but by about April...you want to hone in on that decision to commit.

But come on over to WISH--there is an unofficial 2008 thread right now and then post event this weekend...the Weekly training threads will be back in high gear as everyone trains for next year and all the different Disney races that happen between now and then.

Yep, usually early summer. We were supposed to be there right now for the marathon, but money was too tight and we had to cancel. Lost the $90 marathon registration we'd already paid!
