When Does MK's POTC Open?

Does any one know when the MK's rehabed version of POTC is scheduled to open? DL's open tomorrow and I would think they would be pretty much on the same timetable??

I think I read that it opened July 1

Months ago it was scheduled to open on July 7th (to coincide with the release of the new PotC movie).

But from many discussions here recently, and from the re-furb notice dropping off the official WDW on July 1st, and the big July 4th crowds pouring in around July 1st...

many of us are saying...

JULY FIRST!

(But we won't know until they actually OPEN it.)

Last week, the signs at the entrance still said July 7 for the opening. Of course, that doesn't preclude soft openings earlier.

I have read both dates...July 1st and July 7th. Hopefully it will be either the 1st or some day shortly thereafter since we are leaving to come home on the 7th.

Cannot wait to see the new additions and then come home to see the new movie.
