When Does MK Run Two Festival of Fantasy Parades?

Hey all! I’m currently at WDW and was a bit surprised to see the Cavalcade running twice in the mornings, while FOF ran once at 3. When I was here in Nov. 2022 I think it ran two of each, with the Cavalcade running later.

Someone told me that it’s “off season” now and that’s why. But I see reports of March or so that ran FOF twice. So I’m curious what times the typical cut offs are for the schedules. November is normally kinda slow as well so I figured that would be a diminished schedule, too.

Truth be told, I MIGHT have rescheduled to a busier time just to get two shots at the parade, lol.

Also I’m curious: for longtime goers, are there some floats that have disappeared or been altered? I think Merida used to have one. And oftentimes the Tangled float doesn’t “swing” (two days ago it started swinging then stopped).

I’m wondering too! I read an article in May that the parade was moving to 12 and 3 for the summer but MDE still just says 3pm!

I just did the Keys to the Kingdom tour a few weeks ago and we got to see the parade staging area. We were told that during the "hot" season (so basically May through October lol) they kind of alternate weeks between offering it once a day or twice a day to give all the performers and float operators a bit of the break since nothing inside the costumes or inside the float vehicles is air conditioned.

Last time I was a MK, there were 2 parades. That was 7/2. Mayst have been for the holiday week. Friends that work at Universal and WDW have said it’s been slow lately.

oh, interesting! I thought they ran two parades a day during Summer all the time. I know they started running two per day a couple weeks after I left, which irked me, lol.

I thought it was only for busy times, which summer isn't.
