The DL site isn't telling me anything...

It usually closes when the holiday season ends in January. The holiday season is officially ending on Wednesday, January 6th in 2016, although I suspect that Haunted Mansion Holiday may remain open through Sunday, January 10th, and close on Monday, January 11th. A similar thing happened this past January.

Also, I kept track of when things opened and closed for the last holiday season in this post - http://www.disboards.com/threads/di...egin-fri-november-13th.3358217/#post-52730324.

Sherry, I read through a lot of that thread but can't find how long it is usually closed in January to remove the overlay. Do you know about how long it takes?

If there is no work that needs to be done on Haunted Mansion beyond just the removal of the overlay (no refurbs, in other words), then it should take no longer than a couple of weeks to remove everything, at most. It was down by the 12th this past January, and I think it reopened in non-holiday form by January 26th or somewhere in that range. Generally, Disney tries to time it so that Haunted Mansion closes for the overlay removal first, and then when it reopens It's a Small World Holiday closes for its own overlay removal. That way, they aren't both down at the same time.

Thankyou! fingers crossed it follows the same routine!
