when does dining plan start?

Hi,
We are starting at a DVC and moving over to the POP. If we check in at 8:00 am to get tickets, does the dining plan start then, even if our room is not ready.?

It starts as soon as you check in. You get a set number of credits for each night of your stay depending on your plan. You can use them any way you want i.e. 3 TS in one day and 2 CS the next day.

You will receive your key cards whether or not your room is ready. As soon as you receive the cards, you can start using them to pay for DDP meals.
