We head out of town for a week on Sunday, so I expect the decorations inside will start getting packed up the week of Jan 6th. Outside, we keep the lights up and on for another month or so.... the don't get taken down until it get's warmer again.
I always think of the week between Christmas and New Years as part of the Holiday season.
As soon after January 1st as I can make myself start taking care of them. I like to have the tree lights and outdoor lights on through New Year's Eve, but then I don't light them any longer. I didn't put out as much this year though, as I normally do. We are planning a vacation and I didn't want to deal with so much to take care of before we go.
