When does Christmas being?

Does anyone know when Christmas festivities begin at Disney World? We are thinking about a trip next fall, but are trying to decide if we want to do end of October in order to see the Fall and Christmas décor or if end of Sept, beginning of Oct would be better. We have been in December twice and loved seeing all of the Christmas décor, but really want to do fall again.

Early Nov is when Christmas decor will start going up. It's usually right after the last MNSSHP, which is Nov 1st. So Nov 2nd or a couple days after is when the Christmas stuff will be put up

At MK, absolutely.

At the rest of WDW, its a process that takes until Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

In the parks, on November 1 is the official start of most Christmas decorations being up. One year, I was at WDW thru November 3. Before Halloween, all the decorations were fall-themed. On the morning of November 1, I was at Disney Springs, and it was obvious to me that the little Disney elves had been there after Halloween night, and suddenly there were no signs of Fall, but lots of Christmas decorations. Except MK when there is a Halloween Party Nov 1st, which there is ... so Christmas decor won't be until after.

Oh interesting. My kids will only go to HM now when its "Jack Skellington" as they call it. Kind of gets you in hte Christmas mood early
