When does AP expire?

If you purchased your AP on the 15th, does it expire the 14th or 15th?

If you buy a voucher online, it is not activated until you enter a park (and you have to do it at a ticket window or guest relations). So you are correct. But the answer for OP is 11:59 same calendar day that you bought it, which means 1 bonus day!

I have a question that I never thought of until just now...What if the park closes very late, like 1am, and you were in on the afternoon of that very last day but you took a break. Could you come back at 12:15, just 15 min past official expiration, and still get in? It seems like you could since it would count as the previous day on a 5 day hopper. Hmm. Just wondering.

You can enter until park close on the date you activated the AP one year later. If you purchase a voucher in advance the AP is activated the date you redeem the voucher whether or not you enter a park that day.

If your upgrading from another type of ticket to an AP, to get the best price you need to enter/use the ticket at least once. That date becomes your renewal date. If you don't use the ticket once, then it's the upgrade date. If you aren't upgradng and purchased an AP, then it's the activation date.

Disney Park Days don't end at midnight like a regular day does. If closing time is after midnight, it is still considered the same park day as when the park opened for business. So your AP would still work after midnight for a park which opened the "day before." That's a little bonus for you.
