When does 14 day ticket expire?

first day were usaly by the pool and last day were ready for the off, but i was always under the impression that its 14 days from first us,so technically its 15 days.

I might be the only whacky one on this thread, :lmao: but when I count 14, I start at one and stop at 14. It is very interesting though, but a one day ticket gets you one calendar day So a 14 day ticket should get you 14 ..... surely?

Maybe our AP's were for a year and a day then, thought I was going mad, I believe the start date was 5th August and expired 5th August which made it 1 year and 1 day.
Anyone have an AP now to check?

Could be a difference with MYW tickets Lee compared to UK ultimates. MYW are fixed days, Utimates expire X days after 1st use. :confused3

Still a year and a day - bought ours on 10 November and they expire 10 November 2011.

This thread is hurting my head soooo much
:lmao:
Haha. Me too.

In any case I won't be letting my friends visit a park on their first night if they want to visit a park on their last day. Especially as ME won't be picking them up from the BC until like 4pm.

I wouldn't risk it all the time it says "14 day" on the tickets.

We had a dilemma re Seaworld re entry for free within 7 days.

I phoned and asked if I could use the ticket 2 consecutive mondays and was told no. Was sure i'd done it the year before, so tried it and turnstyle let us through no problem.

So it was ok to use the ticket say monday 1st then again monday 8th and was classed as use within 7 days.

Looks as though disney may be interpreting it the same way 14 days from first use i.e 14 days after first use.

Thankfully we have nothing to lose, we want to use ours on our 1st full day (3 year old 1st visit, must take her to see Cinderellas castle, she is excited now about it 6 months away:goodvibes) then after our cruise we were expecting 1 day use left of our 21 day tix, if valid for the 22nd day it will be a bonus.

Right, as I land at around 5pm on my first days it's going to be probably after 6:30pm by the time I get to POR with ME, so by the time I've checked in and got settled may be a little late to make a park - and seeing as my return flights isn't until 7:30pm I will probably get more time in the parks on my last day.

So me thinks I will spend first night in POR lounge and see what beers they have on offer :)

Interesting thread though - I wondered if the tickets expired 14 x 24 hours after first use, so if you first used it at 8pm on day 1 the expiry date/time would be 7.59pm on day 15 :headache:

Most people when talking about their hols say we were going away for 2 weeks which everyone conjurs up in their minds as 14 days.

As we all know from this thread a 2 week holiday is 15 days as you need to count the day you travel which is why travel operators work in the no. of nights.

So most people buying a 14 day ticket are on a two week holiday which is 15 days so maybe Disney accept that and it is 14 days FROM first use as in 14 + the day you first use it

I've never thought about it before and assumed if we used it the first day we wouldn't be able to the last day so we never go into the parks on the first day.

I would be very unterested to hear from you all as you now try to use your ticket for 15 days..........I bake a good cake if anyone needs a file hiding in it to escape from Alcatraz! :rotfl:

Universal 14 day were definitely 14 full or part days so the 14th day after first use (ie the 15th day) they had expired.

I begged at CS and was super polite and pointed to my crying three year old and they let us in anyway (don't tell too many people that lol).

No problem now as we always get annuals.

Anyone who is going soon care to go to guest services and check the expiry date on their ticket to find out if it is 14 or 15 days - please?:goodvibes
