When does 11mth or 7 mth begin ?

Is the 11mth or 7mth rule on a calendar month basis or is it on a day to day basis? If someone wanted to book BWV for beginning 12/5/06, would the 11mth start on 1/5/06, 1/1/06, 2/1/06 or some other date ?

I spoke with MS yesterday on this and it's day of the month, based on the checkout day of the ressie. So if your're checking out on 9/24/06, your seven month window is opening today.

To expand a bit on what Hogzilla already posted -

If the first night of your stay will be 12/5/2006, the 11 month window opened on 1/6/2006 (because you'd be checking out on 12/6/06 if you wanted to stay the night of 12/5).

The 7 month window for that date is May 6, 2006. However, since 5/6/06 is a Saturday and MS isn't open on weekends, you can't book that night until Monday, May 8, 2006. The good news is that if you're booking day by day for that week (highly recommended if you want VWL, BCV or BWV), you can also book the nights on 12/6 & 12/7 on that same Monday (May 8, 2006).
