when do your kids go back to school?

Back to school can mean august or it can mean september and it would affect crowds at WDW. I'm wondering if this unscientific poll would help us all get a better idea at crowd size during aug and sept.

I still don't know for sure when our school starts next year. I hear it's Sept 2 but it could be after labor day.

My DS14 starts high school on Sept 2, while DS11 doesn't start until Sept 21 due to construction - he and I are planning a "mom and me" trip from 9/12-9/18 woohoo!

Don't think I'm a bad mom for leaving DS14 home with Dad, I asked his permission before I even mentioned the idea to DS11, his response was "I don't care as long as you bring me back some of those rice krispy treats from goofy's with the candy on em".

The kids go back Aug 24. Today is there first day of summer vacation and honestly, I'm ready for school to start again.

My kids don't start summer vacation until June 19. They go Back Aug. 24.

It seems like the school year gets longer and summer vacation gets shorter.

DD last day of school was yesterday...grade school kids, are out on the 9th.

My kids go back "mid-August", if Aug 10 is considered mid. They've been out for more than 2 weeks already!

Aug. 10th is actually the latest they've gone back in the last few years. Last year it was Aug 6!

I think when we do make it to WDW with the kids it will be over fall break in October ...

in thye burbs of Atlanta, Georgia we start back on Aug 10th. Then again, our last day was May 22nd.

MN--we are still in school--out next week, but don't go back til Tuesday after labor day (sept 8?).

My kids get out 6/18 and go back 9/2. This is the first time ever for them to go back before labor day.
