When do you think the AP rates will be released for Jan & Feb?

I'm watching too but I don't have an answer for you. We have a room booked for early January with the current public rate but I'm hoping that the AP rates will be for a greater discount and that there will be availability for me to apply the AP rate to our reservation.

I can't decide if we are going to go ahead and book for January or wait it out. The GP room discount is pretty good I think. We haven't decided for sure we are going to get to go back in January, it will depend on how budget minded I am while Christmas shopping.

Can anyone tell me what the historical AP rate is? We are probably looking at value or moderate but not very picky about where we stay this trip.

We booked BC in early February at the GP rate - 40% off. For our last two trips (March and July,) the GP rate has been 40% for deluxe and the AP rate has been 42% for deluxe. I don't want to guess at value/mod, but I'm sure someone else knows!

Seems like they've been lowering the AP rate to just above the GP. Last year we got 35% off mod, and 45% off deluxe. Now seems to be 42% off deluxe
Mousesavers has a chart with Historical Discounts. For Jan the AP rates have usually come out in late Oct, but last year it was a month latter, end of Nov!!!

So I'm going to be watching from late oct. Never know!

It just seems that the AP rates are the last to be realised. Use to be that AP were out there prior to the GP but not this year (and next it seems for that matter). I know the Jan-Feb AP for the Deluxe was 45% off for 2010. I don't recall the Mod or Value but they were 30-35% off I think. We never were able to get the AP rate for our Woods view at WL (we had a 40% off pin) Standard or Woods view were never avail. for our Feb 5th-12th stay. It really seems AP are few and far between lately!

If I go with an AP it would be the premium one. It's overkill but then I have the incentive to return within the year. I am trying to see if the discount is worth it. Does anyone know of a way to get historical AP rates or preferably ones for this date range without actually purchasing the AP? Thanks again for all the advice.

You don't mention your dates, starting a week after New Years or the 2nd? Anyway, while no AP rates, there are GP, FD and Free GC rates in Jan. If I were you I would book one and change if AP is better if you are going anyway.

Judging from this, it looks like we may see AP rates in 2 to 4 weeks. Here's hoping that they are better than the current GP room discount.
