I just finished addressing all of my Christmas cards, now I have a few more weeks to put personal notes in them. Just curious as to when you all usually mail your cards out. I usually send mine the first or second week of December.

Usually I am fairly prompt.. however one year everyone got
Happy New Year's cards:jester:

I couldn't really vote fairly. I normally sent them out after Thanksgiving, along with putting the tree up, etc. Since I've had DD, born 12/8, I've been holiday/BD party-sidetracked until one or the other events are over. AND, with DISCon this year, I'm not sure about when I'll do anything!

I still need to have the kids' pictures taken together. School pictures were not nice enough. :( I used to do this myself also but, this year/end of Nov/early Dec are coming up really fast on me!!

So, for purposes of THIS year, they'll be out mid-Dec. (I HOPE!).

Unfortunately I don't have relatives here, mine are all overseas and we e-mail, and dh's family I can count how many people we have with the fingers on one hand. I don't think I'm going to be sending out that many cards this year, e-cards yes but real cards I don't think so.

i always aim for december 15, but it usually ends up being more like 4-5 days before. :o

For the past couple of years, I've sent mine out after the second week of December b/c I have finals the first two weeks of December. I'll probably send them out earlier next year since I won't have to wait for finals to end!! :bounce:

We're going to WDW on Thanksgiving and coming home December 8th...too close to Christmas with everything I need to do...so this year, the PLAN is to send out Thanksgiving/Holiday Cards before we go. I always make my own, and send out about 100. We took the pictures (kids and dog) last week, and are having trouble printing out the cards, so I HOPE we can follow through with our plan.

I don't send any cards. people that send them to me are dwidling cause I don't sent any back. Christmas can be a sad time for me, even though I have family and friends i don't have a special person that I can really feel complete with. :D

I usually have mine in the mail the day after Thanksgiving. We always do the informal family photo Christmas card.

The business ones take a little longer as there's so many and I always personally thank our customers for their patronage all year long.

Pam

I voted for the second week of December. Each year I tell myself I'll get them out earlier, but I never do. Sometimes it's even later.

I will mail them the second week of December, after I get home from DISCON :)

There was no choice for my answer. I fill them all out and get them ready to mail by the end of November. Then I keep them and mail them out the day after I receive my first card.

I usually get mine written the first weekend of December and sent out the following week, IF I have enough stamps. Somehow I always ask DH to get the stamps and he always "forgets".

The very last minute. People who receive my Christmas cards usually get them on Christmas Eve.

Since my b-day falls on the 15th of Dec, I use that as my target date for mailing cards!!

I have mine addressed too. I am adding notes to a lot of mine, and then I mail them about the first or second week of December.

Usually start sending the long distance ones around the end of November & then work my way down to to local ones by first week in December. I usually have arounc 40 to post off, so I work on the furtherest way first as they take the longest to get there.:D

After Thanksgiving, not this year we are going to DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!
