When do you receive park tickets if you purchase a package?

I purchased a package on the Disney site that included hotel, park tickets, luggage tags, magical express, and a 5x7 photo pass. I received a packet in the mail that included luggage tags, a hotel voucher, a note saying a magical express packet would be sent separately, and a note saying the 5x7 photo pass was available at the hotel upon check-in. The itinerary they sent has the passes listed. Should they have sent me the tickets or are they automatically put on my room keys when I check-in?

Sorry I am just a little confused. I have never purchased a package before.

When we went in 97 and stayed on site with the package our tickets and meal plan was all tied into our room keys, if I remember correctly it's still the same.

You're correct, but that one thing to lose is very easily replaced on WDW property. If you leave your tix at home, Heaven help you! You may not be sunk, but you might have to swim like heck for a long time!

We purchased a package a month before we left for WDW. I had no idea how the system worked, but our agent assured us all would be waiting for us upon arrival. She was correct. Checkin at the POP went smoothly and we each received a credit card sized card that was our room key, admission to the parks, fastpass card, and charge card. They worked great and make nice souvineers for the scrapbooks.

The room key/ticket is awesome. In fact, the new lanyards that they are giving out this year at the resorts have a clear pocket on them for storing your cards.

You get everything at check-in.

We booked each part (airfare, lodging, tickets) each separately. We have received our lodging confirmation (POP) and our tickets in the mail. Can we have our tickets added to our room key when we get there, so we only have one card to carry?

I believe the policy is that you cannot get Key to the World once you have purchased your tickets separately.
