When do you receive DOC's?

Just curious - when should we receive our cruise docs? We booked thourgh Dreams Unlimited and leave on 1-29-04

We booked through Dreams and we got ours 3 weeks before we were due to cruise!

If you booked through Disney or Dreams Unlimited (not sure about other travel agencies) they should arrive within the two to three weeks. Maybe sooner, maybe a little longer. They will come FedEx. If you are not home, they will leave a tag so you can pick them up at FedEx.

I booked through Dreams for the four-day that we took on October 12th and I came home one evening and our docs were on the front porch. I believe they were left there by UPS. We received them about two weeks prior to cruising.

We also recieved ours via UPS. Other posters have reported both UPS and USPS delivery. I was the first on my cruise from the DIS to get DOCs and they came on the 11 of Dec. about 43 days before our cruise. We are booked directly with DCL and did not take their air fare package.

Both booking through an agent and using the air package will delay the delivery of your DOCs, but they should arrive at least two weeks before your cruise. If not call your agent or DC, if booked directly. They will help you get them or have them at the port for you.

How about if you book through DVC? Is that like using a travel agency in this instance?

On the 1/25 cruise. Docs arrived today 12/17. We booked through Dreams Unlimited and they came UPS.

We are on the 1/18 sailing of the Wonder, and our documents arrived a week ago. UPS brought them. We were not home so the driver put them just inside the garage door, on the floor. I have heard they switched to UPS from FedEx so they don't require a signature anymore. Less hassle for them that way. I like the change because for our second Magic cruise I wasn't home when they tried to deliver the documents so they had to come back, I hated waiting!!

I got a call from our Travel Agent today that our cruise documents have arrived. I am going to pick them up tomorrow.
