When do you put your presents under the tree? (poll)

As I've been reading other threads it has gotten me wondering...when do you all put your presents under the tree?

Do you do it as you buy and wrap them or wait and put them all under at once?

When I was growing up my parents would put a few out prior to Christmas but the majority went out after we went to bed Christmas Eve. When we woke up Christmas morning we were always amazed at how the pile had grown.
One year they decided to put them all out as they went along....it was so disappointing to come down Christmas morning and see the same gifts.

So with my kids not one gift goes under the tree before they go to bed Christmas Eve.

Should also note that Santa brings only 1 gift---the biggie

Same here. We are having a "light" Christmas this year, so many gifts were only purchased today. I am usually done about a week before Christmas. Hence, I just finished wrapping everything, which isn't a lot, but everyone has something to open, including DD's friend who is spending the weekend with us.

Last year I devised a "secret code", I think I got the idea here on the DIS. I don't write names on the gifts, but keep 'em guessing by assigning names to the letters in CHRISTMAS to make the code.

When the kids were little we used to put everything under the tree after they went to bed on Christmas Eve.
Now, I do a little of both.
We put our gifts to each other out as we wrap because I like seeing gifts under the tree. It looks bare without.
The Santa gifts and Stockings show up on Christmas Eve because I still like a little surprise on Christmas morning.

I put them under the tree as soon as they're wrapped. I think its pretty to look at, but if I had kids or something I would probably wait until Christmas Eve to put them under

Santa gifts and stockings tonight...

Everything else is throughout the month of December as it arrives from relatives and as we wrap.

I'm very surprised nobody else has said this as I thought this was how the whole world did it, lol! The gifts from us and others are put under the tree as they are wrapped throughout the month. Santa's gifts and stockings will appear tonight after the kids (15 & 18) go to bed.

I wrap two or three days before Christmas and it goes out then. DH did his wrapping and set up with my gifts yesterday.

It used to be presents from relatives and friends were put under the tree as soon as they came in and then the "Santa" presents appeared Christmas morning. Once the kids caught onto the "Santa Hoax", presents started going under the tree as soon as they come in and are wrapped. We do hang their stockings on their doorknobs early in the morning still.
