When I get back from WDW I feel homesick to go back right away. It's all I can think about and have termed it "Post Disney Depression". But, after 6 months or so I don't miss it so much. Then when a trip is coming up I'm excited but not like I would be when I've just returned from Florida.

Anybody else out there like this or do you miss it more when it's been a longer?

Everyday we are not there. We are trying to plan a trip for December 2011 but it's not looking promising so far. :sad1:

I miss it most when I first arrive home. It has been 3 months and it is just starting to ease up.

I miss it after the holidays when the winter is dragging on and I just want to get away. Usually we go every year during April vacation but this year we decided to go on a cruise instead (we leave tomorrow). Do you think it's any coincidence that the music in this morning's yoga class kept making me think of Epcot and my mind kept going there? :rotfl: Honestly, it was making me think of Epcot. Obviously, I am missing my "happy place" on some level.

It's now a year (give or take) since our last visit and a year (give or take) till our next visit. In fact this time next year we'll be there. :cool1:

Couple of weeks ago we went for a week to Tenerife in the Canary Islands. While there we went to the beach (black volcanic sand) and we were like it's not Florida, is it? Then we went to Siam Park (water park much like Aquatica) and it was really really good, right up there with the Orlando water parks, but we still wished we were there instead. And we went to Loro Parc and saw the killer whales and the dolphins and what all and it really really wasn't Seaworld. And when we went back to the apartment in the evening I really missed WDW.

When we got home I told DH that since we'd had our Tenerife holiday I could start planning WDW in earnest and I've been back on here since working out what new cool things we can do next year.

When life seems slow or dull or I can't seem to get excited about anything....that's when I really wish that I could start planning a trip - or leaving right away!

I miss Disney the last day of vacation. I'm not even OUT of the park and I start feeling depressed that I have to leave. :guilty:

Also, when people I know are there, and I'm texting them..and they send me pictures of rides and stuff...I feel the pang ):

Usually when I'm sitting in the security line at the airport. At least at WDW the line leads to something fun.

I, too, suffer from post-trip depression. We are about a month from our last trip and it really stinks. I wish that I could plan another trip.

I agree with others, I miss it anytime I am not there. Also once our vacation is half or more over.
Missing it today, it is the first day of our April Vacation AND it is snowing here this weekend!!
We were just there in October and have a cruised book for next April :wizard:
We have friends that are arriving today on their FIRST visit :goodvibes

It's the worse the month or so after we get back home. It eases up a bit when we start planning the next trip! When we don't have a trip in the works, I also miss it more. I guess knowing when we'll be going back helps.

Right now! For the past four years, we have went to WDW at the end of May. And, now is the time that I would generally begin making t-shirts, finalizing plans, and packing. It makes me miss it a lot to know that we aren't going this year. But, our last trip was less than magical, so we're hoping that taking a break will help to bring some of the magic back.

I miss it any day I'm not there, and I was there just yesterday. It's my happy place!

The 3rd-4th days after returning from a trip are the absolute worst....but it's always a good time to plan another trip. I think that's what convinced DH and I to purchase DVC so there is always another trip on the horizon.

I miss it most when I'm in the middle of a realllllyyyyy looonnnnnngggg board meeting. :crazy2:

I miss it when I have really hard days at work...I'm a preschool teacher...I have a lot of those days!

All the time. Seriously. We were car shopping today, and passed the airport... we joked that with one phonecall we could be on our way to WDW. It was just TOO tempting.
