I love it in the morning when I just have to hit the "on" button!:coffee: I don't know why but I hate having to get coffee ready. If I don't do it before I go to bed, I probably won't get any in the am! So, when do you make your coffee?

I have a Keurig, so I have a fresh cup every time! I love love love LOVE my Keurig!!!!

I have the coffe pot that can be programed to come on automatically but I never set it! I need those 10 minutes of non-comunication with the world while I make the coffe and come alive each morning!

Me three - except my machine is a Senseo. I'm the only regular coffee drinker in the house so it just didn't make sense to make a whole pot every day. I have one of those "make your own pod" sets so I can just use regular coffee.

We grind our own beans, so I don't do that until we (or I, if DH is still sleeping) get up. Before we used coffee beans I would get it ready the night before, so we could just hit "on" in the morning. I did like that. But we switched to beans and love the freshness. And ground beans start to lose their freshness within 30-minutes of grinding, so it wouldn't make much sense to grind them the night before.

I do love the "pause and serve" feature on our coffee maker, so at least we can grab a cup before it's completely finished brewing. :goodvibes

I have a programmable pot so I set it up at night so it is threre when I come downstairs.

I am NOT a morning person so anything I can do the night before is great. I hate on the weekend having to push the on button (I have it all set to go) when I get up because I don't want to mess with resetting it and changing it back.

I make coffee in the morning. I grind my own beans. I do have a programmable coffee pot so I could do it the night before but just never got into the habit of doing that.

I never think to set it the night before, so I always make it in the morning. No big deal, but I hate cleaning the grounds out in the morning. I try to think to do it sometime during the day, so it's ready to go in the am.

I make it the night before and have a timer set so it is ready when my alarm goes off. I also grind beans if I feel like it. My pot is a grinder as well so I can program it and it will grind and then brew just in time for me to stagger out of bed. LOL

DH got me a coffee grinder for Christmas, but I LOVE my programmable pot! It is great to wake up to the sound of gurgling, hot coffee! I will use the grinder on weekends soemtimes for that second pot...

We use a press pot... So we definitely have to wait til morning. If I'm feeling ambitious I'll wash out the press pot the night before. :rotfl:

Keurig here, too. The last time I had to brew a whole pot (in some hotel room), I almost went crazy. Did it always take that long??? Geez!

I always make mine with the timer the night before. I love that it's just there and ready when I get up!

I get up at 5:45am (or earlier if the dogs don't let me sleep).

Take the dogs potty, change the pet water, feed the cat, make my coffee, feed the dogs, let them in.

By the time I am done with all that, the coffee is just about done. I take a cup of it to the computer to check my email.

I make coffee at 12:15pm, as DH is home around 12:30p and enjoys a cup of coffee when he gets home from work. I make enough for each of us.

On occasion, we make more around 4 or 5p (when it is chilly out).

Around 7pm, I make a pot, but put it on the timer so it is ready when DH gets up at 3am for work.

That's the kind of coffee maker I want when the one we have dies! :thumbsup2

I get it ready the night before and the timer is set to go off about 15 minutes before the alarm goes off. By the time I'm getting DH's lunch ready, the coffee is done and ready for his thermos.
