Hey! Just a quick question. When do you know what apartment complex you will be in? My letter said that I have to check in Vista Way on my day of arrival. Does that mean I have Vista Way? and if so, can I ask them to change because I heard other things about Chat and Patt that are great. Thanks for you help!

No. Everyone checks in at Vista (you find out your complex there). So there is a possibilty to get Chatham or Patterson.

If you get there early I have heard that when you request how many rooms and where and I've heard that the earlier that you get there the easier it is for them to accommodate your request. Nothing is promised though

When I checked in for my program in Spring 2007, we were able to specify how many roommates we wanted, and we also had the choice of which complex. However it all depends on where they have availability so don't go expecting too much!

thanks for all the info. What is the price point for how many rooms with roommates? How many is the best to be in?

According to the "Time and Money Organizer" tool on the official website:

Vista Way: 1-2 bedroom = $87
3-4 bedroom = $77
Chatham: 1-2 bedroom = $92
3-4 bedroom = $82
Patterson: 1-2 bedroom = $93
3-4 bedroom = $83

It's really not that bad a difference overall. Chatham and Patterson are $1 apart, and Chatham is only about $5 more then Vista.
