When do you have to choose a location?

To the experienced brides out there...my wedding consultant has seemed to indicate that at the time we sign our agreement we need to know where the wedding will be held. My problem with this is that some locations have a minimum capacity and some have a maximum capacity and I have no idea how many people to expect to commit to traveling to Florida for my wedding. At what point did everyone have to commit? Has anyone changed their choice after signing their contract and receiving their rsvps?
THanks!

Codie have you asked your SM what locations they suggest for your wedding? They will be able to tell you what will fit your size group. make sure to especially ask for unusual and unique ideas as well.

I chose my locations pretty early on (the venues I used did have minimum guest counts), but I am not sure if that's flexible or not. I think your SM could give you advise as far as that's concerned. In terms of RSVPs, we got a higher acceptance rate than we thought we would. Our EM said that typically Disney weddings get pretty high acceptance rates because people want to see what it's all about.
