When do you get your refillable mug?

This may be a silly question but when do you get your refillable mug on the DDP? Do you get it at check-in at your hotel I assume? What if your room is not ready and you want to hit the parks first, can they hold the mugs until you return?

You have to go to the food court to get them.

They don't give them to you at the checkin desk- you get them when it is convenient for you. Go to the food court/quick service restaurant at your resort and go through the cashier area with them. We got ours the day after we checked in on our last trip.
