When do you get your Magic Bands?

I remember that your Magic Bands are shipped separate from the rest of your trip package. When should we expect these as we are leaving in 31 days.

At the 30 day mark you won't be able to customize them any more, then a day or two after you should get an email that they have been shipped. The day after on MDE mine said to pick them up at the resort, and I had to call Disney for another reason and asked and the CM just said yeah, get them at the resort. But the next day I received an email they were shipped. They come USPS, so it might take a few days to receive them.

You should get them any day. Ours arrived January 4 and our check-in date was January 31

How about the luggage tags? Not the MDE tags but the decorative tags?

This is a surprise trip for our 11 year old son. Just wondering what kind of packaging the magic bands are sent in. When they arrive at my house will my son be able to tell from the outside what they are or is the packaging generic enough where he won't know? Thank you! (wondering if I should have them sent to grandma's house instead so he won't see them??)

They come in a plain cardboard box. I can't recall if Disney was listed in the return label though. Inside the box it is obviously Disney so don't open it in front of him.

Luggage tags come with your Magic Your Way envelope prior to the Magic Bands but after you've paid in full. Inside you will find luggage tags and a booklet of info with all of the vouchers/coupons that are included in the MYW package.

Mine came the day after I got the email stating they were being shipped. I want to say it was at the 26 day mark.

I got the email last Saturday and my MagicBands were at my house on Monday. Look for them Monday!

Thank you Disers for all your info. I have one question. I have a dvc room rented so no package but my bil and his family are using ME ( I already signed them up with MS)
flying from NY a night before us. I know I listed his address on MDE but I told him both the ME info and the magic bands will ship to him direct. They don't have his email. Was I correct? They are landing at midnight so I want to make check in at AKL without us there as seamless as possible. We won't come up till the next day as we are driving from Jupiter. Thanks

I was wondering this too! Thanks! How long before do you get the MYW package? We have been paid in full for months. The only thing I've received was the thing that had the magnet telling me when my fast pass+ would be and when to customize the magic bands. We still have 60 days.. so we have some time before we get the magic bands..so I was just wondering.

The MYW package should come about 30-35 days out and MagicBands about 25-28 days out. I didn't get my magnet until after every deadline that was listed on it had already passed! Luckily I knew the deadlines and had already been proactive on meeting them.

Wow.. I got my magnet months ago.. Well right before I was able to customize my magic bands.
