I know you can book your excursions 60 days before you cruise, but when do they mail you the information?

Got mine sometime last week. We sail 60 days from today.
Hope that helps!

Don't wait too long to ask for them. I waited and waited and finally had to call and ask for the excursion info to be sent to me. I booked thru AAA and they acted like I was a pain for asking about excursions. You can book directly thru DCL at the 60 day mark. Book as early as possible so you don't miss out on anything you have your heart set on.

I had the same experience with AAA and ended up calling Disney myself to book. I called AAA and my agend was out and they told me it could wait until her return the following week. I decided not to wait and I was already too late. Unfortunately I did not call at the 60 day mark, and the one excursion I wanted was already booked. I called 57 days out and that was not soon enough. To decide what you want, and call on that 60th day! :(

We still have a little over a month before we can book our excursions. DH and I are trying to get our families to sit down and figure out what they want to do, but since they don't have the information in their hands yet they don't think it's a pressing matter. I'm just afraid they won't get the info until right before they need to book and once they figure it out it'll be too late. There are 12 of us and I guess I'm the appointed tour guide. I really would like to just have everyone do their own thing, but since I know the most about DCL I feel obligated to help everyone.

I'm confused. Why do they (TA's or Disney) send out excursion info? Aren't all excursions listed on DCL's website? Can't you just rvw those listed, print them off, whatever....and then book on the 60th day? How exactly does this excursion thing work?

I guess I'm used to RCL's procedures. With RCL, you can go to their website and use your reservation to book excursions anytime after they are listed, sometimes as much as 6 months prior to the cruise.

:p If you visit DCL site ... ALL of the offered excursions are listed THERE, with prices and a brief but CLEAR description of what you are going to see / do on that particular excursion .

So you can print them (if you like), sit down , dream and choose !!

Then you can book on-line at 60 day mark ... and DCL will send you back a written confimation !

You pay while on board: excursions are charged on your on board account.

Hope this help ! ENJOY YOUR pre- CRUISE !!!!

We just recieved our packet of excursion info from our TA today.( we sail in less than 60 days)..I thinks she said she recieved it a day or two ago.....I had already looked on the DCL site to find information on excursions...and we had decied to do any excursions on our own...due to costs.

Next week is our 60 day mark and we don't have our excursion information yet, but I printed out the information from the DCL website and we picked what we want to do on the cruise. Next week I will call and book us.

Maybe the information will show up before next week, but I am so glad they have it available online. It took a few days for all of us to agree what to do.

We received our excursion form from our travel agent a few days after we paid for the cruise in full (that was 60days from cruise date.) The excursions info is available on the disney cruise website. The excursion form we received listed all excursion codes, times and prices. You could fax the form or call the Special Services # they provided. I called and they confirmed the excursions right away. They told me I would receive a confirmation in the mail within about a week. :wave2:

All the excursion info is on the web site. Occasionally, an activity will not be available on a particular cruise (not sure if due to weather, unavailability of the vendor, or whatever). It will not show a price in the excursion stuff you receive in the mail, but will be featured in the print info and on the web site.

Excursion info is sent from DCL after you have made your payment in full and just about at the 60 day mark. We've gotten it a week or so before the 60 days when we have paid a little early.
