I know there's still snow on the ground...A lot of snow, but I am really itching to get the camper out of storage. How soon do you get your camper out and ready for camping season?

I wait until I am pretty positive it isn't going to freeze again. Nothing worse than dewinterizing the water lines only to have to rewinterize again.

People keep their campers in storage? OH! the humanity....

No storage for me either anymore. It used to be in a storage yard, but it stayed there year round when I wasn't using it. Just went and picked it up a day or two before I went out in it.

Whenever we decide to hit the road. We've de-winterized, re-winteized and de-winterized many times. Been camping in N.Illinois in Feb.(went down to 13, no problems) using a heated water supply. Cleaned the snow off the roof on Feb, 14, 15, & 17 th this year hit the road on the 18th and headed to the Fort.

I may take ours out as soon as the snowplow remains melt enough that I can 4-wheel it out of there. :thumbsup2

Mine sits at the end of my driveway during the winter. This Sunday I am getting all new tires on it. It is a 2002 and still sittin on its original rubber feet and they are showing some dry rot. No way do I want to travel on those tires, not to mention that they won't pass a state inspection.

After that, de-winterize and a good wash and wax, clean and dust, and it is ready to go

DITTO! UNLESS I am headed down to the Fort. Right now I have it covered which now has snow on top of that and a plowed pile of snow (now ice) at least 6 foot high in front of it. :confused3

Ours was sitting at a campsite in Jackson GA since last fall.
DH was flying back and forth for work the entire winter (missed having to deal with every snowstorm )
He finally drove it home about 2 weeks ago, he dropped it off at a local RV place to have an inspection done (ran out in december) and they are storing it until we can get in in our driveway.
The big snow piles at the end of the driveway are all but gone so no longer a problem getting the MH into the driveway, but the actual driveway (stone and about 800 ft in length) is a total mess. The one low section is underwater and the van/trucks are sinking. No way are we going to attempt to get that 26K lb thing through it.

Here's my storage:

I just go outside and play! Plugged in to the garage and the furnace is fully gassed up.:thumbsup2

Here's mine, I can even hook up cable to it :-)

It may be a while...

We're planning to leave for FL in a month. Hopefully then the snow will be gone but the ground will still be frozen, so we can get it out without tearing up too much of the yard.

Storage? Never! We are ready to camp at a moment's notice. Freezing weather is dealt with by parking in an insulated shop and a space heater.

dh just took ours for a ride the other night. we are gonna hit 40 this weekend. so, we plan on washin' her and put her back in the garage with the slides open so,we can start loading her. we head out in about 28 days...
:cheer2:

Storage??????? What's that??

:lmao: Thats what I was thinking. Ours just sits in the yard with everything else. It would be a pain to store the trailer some were else.
