When do YOU book/payments/plan?

I'm planning a mother/daughter trip to disney for Sept 08. I'd really prefer to wait for codes, free dining, etc options but I know I can book NOW anyway. Likely through AAA (do you lose money if you need to cancel through AAA and use a pin code?)

How far ahead do YOU book and what type of payment plan do YOU get on? I'd like to break the payments up as much as possible... looking at POFQ... just curious if I should be doing something NOW?

I would go ahead and book it with AAA praying that free dining will come about in september, once again! You can always add the free dining later through your TA. I usually get back from a trip and plan and start paying for another!

I use to book as soon as the rates for the next year are out. I would book with AAA and put down the $200 deposit. After that I would break the payments up over about 9 - 10 months.

I am in the same boat as you. I'm planning on Sept 19-28th next year and boy am I excited to go. I think I'm going to go ahead and book my trip then as codes come out or promos come out I'll just call and make changes to my package as necessary.
