I believe you can book 60 days before sailing. Is that correct? Do you need your cruise docs first? Can you book on-line (like RCCL) or do you need to call DCL direct?
Also, when do you pay for the excursions? At the time of booking or at the end of the cruise?
Hi with DCL you book 60 days before sailing , you can book via fax or e mail but from what i've read it's safer to phone, the costs get billed to your onboard account for paying at the end of your cruise, if you are booking non dcl you can book as far out as you like and different companies have different charging policies.
some excursions are insanely popular (i.e. dolphin swims) and book well before you board ... we called DCL directly on day 60 before our cruise and booked everything we wanted ... you have up until 48 hours before your embarkation day to cancel, or you're charged for the excursion ... the excursions will appear on your stateroom bill.
