Ohhh.... you're going to LOVE the WL at Holiday time. I've stayed several times during that time of year I take my semi-annual trip from the Saturday after Thanksgiving until the following Saturday and two of those recent visits have been to the WL. I would be staying there this year were I not trying to save a little money, and thus opting to stay at Port Orleans Riverside, which I've heard great things about.
Personally, these are the highlights of the holiday season to me:
1) Seeing the Christmas trees. Let me tell you, I've seen a lot of trees over the years, but never so many and so beautiful as you'll find while exploring the various parks, resorts and restaurants of Walt disney World.
2) The Candlelight Procession at Epcot. The first year that I went to see this, I wasn't sure what my reaction would be as I'm not much on Holiday music. Or so I thought! But, wow, this actually brought tears to my eyes.
3) Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Snow on main street. Need I say anything more?
4) Osborne Light Festival. Unfortunately, this won't be up this year, and I'm massively bummed about that. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
5) Santas from around the world at Epcot.
6) the International Archway at Epcot, which at night is ablaze with lights, all synchronized to holiday music. I could sit and watch this (as well as the fountain) for hours!
Any way you slice it, this is sure to be a Disney trip you won't forget!
