When do we get documents?

I was wondering... This is our first cruise ever. We are set to go on the Magic on December 17, 2005. We have paid our deposit to Cruisequick. Now what. I received our email confirmation, but is that it until....when?

I guess my question is do we get anything else confirming? When do we cruise documents, etc.... Just wondering. Thanks!

Your documents will arrive after you have paid off the final balance on the cruise. A lot of people cancel before the final payment is due, therefore documents are not sent until they know for sure you are going.

For the three cruises that we have taken, we have gotten our docs anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks before the sail date. I know some others have gotten theirs sooner, but I think 2-4 weeks out is about the norm.

Thanks for the info. It just doesn't feel final to me until have some sort of paper in my hand. I guess this will get me to pay it off quicker!

I completely understand! Then you can read them 3 or 4,000 times before you leave. And then you can check the drawer you put them in everyday to be sure they are all ready to do! Yup, that's what I do!
