When do we get charged for reservations?

It is soon time to make reservations for Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot. My question is, when is the money withdrawn from the bank? Is it only at the time of the event or is it at the time of purchase? When I look online right now, it shows that Savi's workshop has availability in the morning and afternoon for Aug. 18th and it shows that Droid Depot has no availability for that day. That makes me think that Droid Depot sells out faster. I would like to get both of my son's to do the DD and SW around the same time of day if possible. If I make one at a certain time and then another time comes up that is better later on, can I make a second reservation before canceling the first one and not have my card charged twice? Is that the same with dining reservations?

you use a cc t make the reservation but nothing is charged until you show up. the card is on file to charge you if you do not show for the reservation.

Droids do not sell out faster. Savi’s slots were released late so people gave up or thought they were already gone.

Droid depot seems to have no availability from 18th August onwards.
