Hi Guys
I was wondering how far in advance before your cruise does Disney send out your travel documents?
thanks:goodvibes

This is our first cruise, so I don't know the norm, but we sail on February 19th, and we received ours in the mail today. :goodvibes

Generally about a month ahead, but there are some variables.

If you used a TA, the TA can specify whether the documents should be sent to them first or directly to you. The theory is that they will check the docs and make sure that everything is correct. Obviously, if they go to the TA first, there will be a few days of delay before you get them.

Also, if you buy air thru DCL, they tend to come a little later than if you booked only the cruise--like 3 weeks ahead.

There is NOTHING in the documents that you need. Everything is available on line. The luggage tags are the one useful thing, but if for some reason you don't get the docs, you can get replacement luggage tags at the Welcome Center at MCO (lower level, terminal B), at the cruise desk at any WDW resort, or at the terminal from the porters who take your luggage (if using private transportation.) There is essentially no way to get on a cruise out of Florida without going to one of these places along the way!

DW and I are on the February 13 Dream. We received the Documents on Wednesday (January 19), which was 3 weeks and 4 days (25 days) prior to the embarkation date.

i was wondering the same thing. We are on the Feb 25th Dream. So it is good to know the 19th sailing came today. Hopefully then we will see something next week.

Are you planning on meeting us in Nassau? The ship is leaving Port Canaveral on Feb. 24th. :confused3

Yes I hope they come soon!

We are leaving in just a few weeks.

Also does DU send you ANYTHING?

No proof of payment?

No trip info?

Not even a thank you?

Something in the mail would have been nice!!:confused3
