When do they take down Christmas decorations?

Title says it all. When do they take down Christmas decorations? My family is planning a trip to Florida (not Disney) next year just after Christmas. Will the decorations be up through New Years?

Yes, the holiday decorations are up through New Years Day. They usually start coming down several days after the beginning of the year.

They usually will leave some up for the marathon!

The Osbourne lights are up until 1/7 and I am so happy as I am arriving 1/6 and staying at Boardwalk Villas

We were at the CR one year starting on the 7th of Jan. We watched them take down the big tree in the front of the main entrance one morning section by section. It was a very cool thing to watch. They used a big crane. Awesome.

That was quite a few years ago. I don't know if they still stay up that long.

In the usual year, Osborne lights is the first Christmas event to end and thus likely the entire first week of Jan will still look like Christmas week since those lights will be up throughout the week.

In 2010, we arrived at BLT the Wednesday before the Marathon and DVC's tree was up. Thankfully we took pictures, because all decorations at that resort were gone the next day!
