So me and my family are leaving the day after Thanksgiving!!! I’m very excited but I would even more excited if the Christmas decorations were up. Does anybody know when they start putting them up?

The "holiday" season officially starts this coming weekend, but I understand the decorations are going up now, or are already up already.

Yep, most are already up. The tree should be in place early this week, and on Friday, the holiday parade and other entertainment begins.

So, when we go on the 23rd, the decorations and the christmas parades will be in full force? Thank you everybody so so much. You have made my day!!!

Yep! The official beginning of the holiday season is 11/16 so everything will be in full force by the time you get there! Have a great time!! :wizard:

The tree was put up last night. Everything is mostly decorated from what I've seen.

Yup. Tree last night (didn't see it until this morning, and with lights on tonight). IASW had lights on for the first time tonight. It looks AWESOME! I don't know what usually goes up at Christmas time, but the park looks pretty much decorated already! HM still has Halloween decorations on the outside. Does it stay that way or will it change to Christmas decorations too?

Can't wait to see if there are more decorating surprises tomorrow morning! I can't believe what they can accomplish in the middle of the night!

Signing off from DLH...

Jack Skellington and his crew will stick arond with the "Nightmare Before Christmas" overlay until the end of Christmas peak season (second week of Jan).

We were just there November 7-10th and a lot of the decorations were already up. All of the holiday festivities and events officially start on November 16th.
