When do they run out of fast passes?

When do they usually run out of the fast passes for the popular rides? I have not been to WDW for many years (before fast passes), but at Disneyland Paris they would stop giving out fast passes for Peter Pan by about 1:00 pm. Is it the same at WDW? Are there any rides that run out in the morning? What is the longest you have had to wait to use a fast pass? Thanks for your help!

It all depends on the attraction and time of year. Test Track (and now Soarin') may run out of Fastpasses as early as 10am, or they may have them until after noon. Test Track seems like it runs out of FastPasses sooner than any of the other attractions, and most don't run out at all.

The longest I've personally waited for a FastPass return time is about 6 hours and that was for Test Track. I can't recall any other FastPass that even came close to that long a return time, but I am certain others have had the same experience.

when we were there in May, FP for Stitch were gone very early! By 11am.

Why would they run out of fast passes? Aren't they just a piece of paper with date at return time? Wouldn't they just have to reloan the paper? If these are really dumb question, please don't laugh, this is all so new to me. Please explain it.

It doesn't have anything to do with roloading paper. There are only a certain amount of fass passes for each hour of the day that are given out. This is why fass pass lines are shorter and you dont have to wait forever. It's a great system, but on busy days if you want a fass pass you might have to plan ahead. Hope this helps some.

When we went to MK last week (on a day with EMH eve.) we got a Space Mt. FP at 3:30 for between 8:55 and 9:55. It said we could get another fast pass at 6:35 so we got one for Big Thunder at 6:30 for between 8:40-9:40. We did Big Thunder first and noticed they had Fast Passes left (park closed at 11 that night) but by the time we got off the ride the FP were gone. Peter Pan FP were done when we walked by about 4PM. We got a FP for Test Track at 9:30AM for between 1:40-2:40.
