When do they put up Christmas decorations inside the park?

Hi all,

I'm planning a trip to Disneyland with my parents, brothers, niece and one of my brothers girlfriend. My mother is dead set on going during Christmas time, so, I was wondering, when do they put up the Christmas decorations? I've been planning around the dates November 11th - November 15th, but, I'm not sure if Christmas decorations will be up then. Will they be up, if not, when is the best time to go in December (the least amount of crowds, etc)

Decorations start going up after Halloween. The start of the Christmas season (with all the holiday parades & fireworks) will be some time that week. My guess is either Monday Nov 12 or Friday Nov 16.

Christmas decorations start appearing the day after Halloween. We like to make a game of seeing what Halloween stuff is gone and what Christmas stuff the days after Halloween.

By the 11th, I would assume there would be a fair amount of stuff up.

It's always fun to see "ice" on the castle during the Halloween fireworks too!

Exactly! I believe last year it was up by Sat before Halloween, along with snow.
