When do they offer Wild Africa Trek?

We were considering this (you know, if that Christmas bonus materializes LOL). But I don't see any times for January yet. Do they not release the schedule until last minute, or do they not do it in January/February? We would want to do it on February 2nd.

I cant answer your question about the specific times but it is offered year round.
We did it in May one year and my wife and daughter and doing it this December, its a lot of fun.

Is it really worth the cost? We're a family of 5 so super pricey LOL.

I did it in January 2015, so it definitely happens year round. You could always call the special events number and ask about it.

To answer your question about is it worth it, for me it absolutely was. I loved it. Learning about the animals and how they are trained and cared for was amazing and I loved the private safari tour because we could stop and watch the animals while the Safari trucks rolled by with only time for a quick picture. I loved eating out on the boma too and asking the CMs questions.

We think so. My wife is doing it a second time with my daughter who is now able to participate based on their age/weight requirements. My mother and her boyfriend are doing it with them in December based on our recommendation.
Yeah, paying for 5 people would make me hesitate as well. We've only had to pay for 2 people each time.

Worth it. It's just one of those need to do it at least once and spend the money things and this one was wonderful.

There are sometimes different prices based on time of day, mine was a bit cheaper because I did an afternoon trek in September, which is a hotter month. I went solo, paying for 5 would have given me pause as well, but I'm sure the kids would love it. It is odd they are not showing times, I would call.

We’ll know about a bonus in a couple of weeks so I’ll call then. We’d be looking for maybe a noon trip.
