When do they fill the lake at DCA?

After reading DIZME's thread about the ducks at the River of Americas, I started wondering when they are filling the lake at DCA. Does anyone know??

It was supposed to be after Labor Day, but I read in an update here while back that they pushed it to October now.

I hope it's filled by both of our trips Kaylasmom. It was empty on our last trip. It would be nice to look at somethiing other than the construction walls

What I meant was right after labor day, I couldn't remember the exact date (which I see now was the 9th!)

Yes, hopefully they don't push it back again! DH and I did the Segway tour a couple of weeks ago and I was really hoping it would be filled before then.

I think we are all waiting for the refill even though it will be a while before we can return. Just does not seem to be right. How was the Segway tour?

The tour was fun!! Very worth it IMO. I wish we could have stayed on them even longer.

Last week it looked like they were still doing a lot of work so I'm not expecting them to fill it anytime soon. It doesn't bother me empty but will be nice to have the water back.

It's "supposed" to be up in March. When in March is unknown.
