When do the Ships get Christmas Decorations

I was just reading about all the Christmas Decorations going up at the Resorts and at WDW.

We are not cruising til Dec. 5th.

Could those of you cruising soon, let us know when the decorations are going up on both the Wonder and the Magic.

I was told that they go up right after thanksgiving. I am cruising on the Magic on December 4 and they told me that the decorations would be definitely up

Our cruise ended last Thanksgiving Day and at least some of the decorations were up on the Wonder for that sailing. I know the big Christmas tree was up in the atrium, for example, as they were doing lots of character pictures in front of it.

Castaway Cay wasn't decorated yet, but we watched them unload the decorations and get to work on them as we sat in the port. That would put them about on the same schedule as the theme parks, which get decorated the day after Thanksgiving (or maybe the day after that). They go up literally over night.

That is great news! I am on the Dec 4th Magic and I never even thought about the Christmas decorations onboard. We are doing WDW right after, so I've been focusing on that.
Oh man, now I'm really excited!!!!!

We just walked off the Wonder Sunday morning (11/7) and there were two fully decorated, plastic wrapped trees near the stairs in the atrium.

The stores in Downtown Disney also had a full section of holiday items (and I don't mean Thanksgiving or Halloween!) I must admit, I purchased multi-packs of the holiday coffee to put in with baked goods!

Last year the Magic was completely decorated for the 11/15 cruise!!! I asked a CM if anything else would be put out & he told me that the ship was completely finished with the decorations. I would expect them to go up this weekend after they get the guests off the ship in the morning. The huge tree was put up over night and surprised us Sunday morning.

This makes me very excited to hear. Thanks !! I am getting married at Castaway and plan on using one of the wedding pictures in our Christmas cards this year. The wonder leaves for us on Nov. 21st. Yeah Tina
