When do the prices go up?

I'm working on booking our upcoming end of Sept/beg of October trip. Since I'd rather pay for things in batches, I'm considering waiting until a couple of weeks before the trip to buy the park tickets.

Anyone know when the next park hopper price increase is due?

Mousesavers has been tracking when the price increases have happened in the past:

Ticket prices just went up in February, so it's possible that there might not be another increase this year. I would keep an eye on the forums and if you start to see rumors that prices are going to increase, consider buying the tickets at that point.

There's no set timing of price increases. But looking at the pattern of the price increases the past few years, it has occur in April or May. However, this year's increase occurred in February. So, no guarantees.

Rumors and confirmation of increases seem to occur the week before. I heard about the increase here and on the Disneyland Today Twitter account.

Tickets purchased now shouldn't expire until the end of this year. Check the vouchers available online at the Disney website or through other venues for the expiration date. The OP could buy the tickets now and not have to worry about another price increase (another board suspects there may be another hike in the fall) between now and 12/31/15.

Oh, I know they won't expire until the end of the year. But the cost for our family's tickets is $1200. If I can spend that in September rather than now, that's better for my budgeting of this trip.

Hopefully there won't be another increase this year, but Disney seems to be all about the money these days. Just watch these boards. We were going to buy APs and I had been reading the forums and everyone was speculating about a price increase. I told my husband that we had better buy the APs. He went to AAA to buy the passes on a Saturday and the prices increased the next day! So, the info. here is usually pretty accurate. BTW, thanks to everyone here for the heads up!
