When do the holiday decorations/ride ovelays go up and week after Thanksgiving

I have a family member coming from out of town who wants to go to Disneyland and I thought it would be more fun to go once the holiday decorations are up as that is when I always love it there the most. I don't remember when exactly they go up though, when is it? Also, I know the week of Thanksgiving can be very busy but does it spillover during the week after as well?I was thinking maybe Wed Nov 29th or Thurs Nov 30th. Thanks!

we are going the Nov. 25- Dec. 1...I want to tell you its super duper crowded and dont go because Im going and Im trying to keep the crowds down but I think it should be ok..the decorations are up before thanksgiving and they will have the parade that week and SNOW

Haha, well I live about 10 minutes away so I won't be staying at the hotels or crowding up your stay too much. Just going to the parks one day

The ride overlays on small world and Haunted Mansion will be up by November 10 and September 29, respectively. The rest of the decorations will probably be up by the weekend before Thanksgiving, if they follow the same schedule they did last year.

Mid-week the week after Thanksgiving should be a great time to be there!
