when do the holiday decorations go up

my DD is trying to figure out when the best time to go in terms of crowds weather and whether theres holiday decorations up

she wants DGD who just turned 2 to experience WDW on its own merit of magic and beauty--

not all decorated for the holidays

so my QS are when do they start putting up the halloween and christams decorations

shes hoping to go in between these 2 holidays while WW is just WDW I hope this makes some sense their on staying at AOA

so any thought advice would be greatly appreciated

Magic Kingdom switches almost over night. There is no way to see it completely normal during the months of September through December. On the night of the last MNSSHP the over night crew takes down all the Halloween decorations and tries to put up as many winter holiday decorations up as possible. All but possibly the big Christmas tree are up by the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The other parks and resorts start some time around Thanksgiving.

If they want to do soon, then they will have to wait and go in January. They are usually up the first few days and then start disappearing so to be sure the second week of January would likely be the earliest they could go to see it "plain".

OP we have gone mid-November at the end of Food & Wine and EPCOT switches over as soon as F &W is over. DHS was decorated but now that the Osborne lights are gone I don't know what will happen this year. The various resorts we visited were starting deorating.We got the impression they wanted everything ready before Thanksgiving
