when do the gates open?

What time do the gates open? I've been to parks where the stated opening time gets you into the park but the rides open later. I've also been to parks where they let you in early, and start the rides at the posted time.

If the park opens at 9am or later the gates will open 30mins before posted opening time but only Main Street is open. At scheduled opening time their is an announcement & rope drop all rides are open at this time.

If the park opens earlier than 9am then the gates open at scheduled opening time and all rides are open.

I have never been there when the park is open at scheduled time but the rides are closed.
