When do Thanksgiving crowds leave

We're thinking about a trip in November after Thanksgiving. This year there is a 'extra' week after Thanksgiving. Do crowds usually leave the weekend after Thanksgiving or will it be less crowded the first full week of December?

we went over thanksgiving and it was very very crowded... But we stayed to the following Tuesday and Monday and Tuesday the parks where very
empty.

We are going for 10 days in Nov. (arriving on Thanksgiving Day). We heard from CM our first trip last Oct. that the week after Thanksgiving is one of the least crowded times. We expect big crowds Th thru Su but it should get better the rest of our stay (6 days!! ) based on what we've heard. I guess we'll find out. We are Sooo excited to go back

FYI: the first full week of Dec. is usually POP Warner week wich apparently is a big cheer, dance, football something or other with LOTS of kids especially at the All Star resorts. I've never been at this time but I've heard some things on this board about it being kind of crowded at these resorts and afternoons/evenings in the parks. Just thought I'd pass along the information.

Pop Warner week is Dec 3 - 9. We were there 2004(staying at Pop Century) and while the resort was a little crowded, I didn't think the parks were crowded at all.

We arrived the Sunday after Thanksgiving last year. That Sunday it seemed fine to us, we were at Epcot and it was our first time there. By Monday all the parks were fairly empty. By that following Saturday it was pretty crowded. We were so spoiled all week it was really frustrating! But it is a great time to go!

JMCDisneyBound.................We are also going for 10 days over Thanksgiving this year! We were also going to fly on Thanksgiving day with our Frequent Flier tickets but when I looked it up I found there were also FF seats available on the late evening flight the night before. Being the disney freak I am I picked the Wed. evening flight so we will not arrive till 10-11pm! but at least when we wake up Thanksgiving morning we will already be there!

Hoping for low crowds for all of us as soon as the holiday is over!!
