When do Room Numbers post in the My Experience App

Hello,
We are all set for our trip next week. Already checked in through the MDE Site. There is a spot in the App for the Resort Room Number. Ours is still blank, when does that populate? I would assume a day or two before we arrive?

Make sure you are logged into MDE on your phone. And you'll get a push notification when the room is ready. Then you can go straight to your room. No lobby check-in needed.
 
I've seen the room number come up before they send the text or push notification, but the room number field won't be populated until the room is ready for occupancy on check-in day.
 
When we were just at CBR in a preferred room we had put in for early arrival and got a few messages on the way that our room was not ready so when we got there we stopped at the front desk and they called and found one for us. We were so glad we checked because we were going to be at MK the rest of the day and attend the after hours party and did not want to have to store our luggage and come back and then go back to MK again.

I always check in on MDE to show my preferences but then I always stop by the front desk once I get off of the Magical Express bus. I tend to get a better read on when it will be ready if it is not ready when we arrive. Often times they will tell me what location I am going to be in so if I have any problems with that I can let them know immediately and they can search elsewhere if needed. We usually are in no hurry to get in as we head to Springs for the afternoon and evening so we want a specific area regardless of the time it will be ready.
 
Ours showed up at 3:30 PM on the day of our arrival. We were in the van on the way over there from the airport when it showed up.

We requested a certain building and area so it all worked out.
 
Now that I think about it, I'll probably stop by the front desk anyway. I'll check then. I'll need to pick up luggage tags and discount card.
 
yep, they won't tell you your room number before it's ready for occupancy but sometimes they will let you know where the room is. Asked at SSR once so I could leave a car at the correct building.

Great answers above but there is one disclaimer.

Your room assignment may actually change from the time it is added to your MDE account on your arrival day and when you actually arrive at your resort.

In my experience, it's always been an hour or so after I'm already at the resort and waiting. :eek:
Someone else mentioned it and it jogged my memory: it does seem to appear on MDE before I receive the text notification.
