When do room benefits start?

Hiya! We are getting so close so I'm trying to hammer out a couple details.
When do your room benefits start? We are going down May4-11, however, we didn't have enough points to stay the whole time. We check in to AKL on 5/6. We did online check in.

Will we be able to access our dining plan and park for free first thing in the morning on 5/6?

You can access tickets up 10 days before the package they are associated with starts. Dining credits cannot be accessed before a package starts.

To access tickets associated with a package early you must stop by a Guest Services location. They are located outside every park and also at Disney Springs.

Right. The tickets aren't part of a package. We are DVC members and purchasing the tickets separately.

I'm more asking when the package starts. I'm not planning on trying to access the dining plan or free parking on 5/4 or 5/5, but we check in on 5/6 at AKL. So if we do rope drop at AK on 5/6, our check in day, will our dining plan and parking privileges be in effect?

The resort's "day" starts at 6 AM, so any package entitlements should be active starting then.
