when do rewards show up?

can someone tell me when the rewards you earned show up on your statement? My bill is due on the 11th of every month, which means my closing date is the 16th. ( charges made after the 16th post on next months statement) I am planning on being in disney on Nov 30 and want to be able to use all my rewards. Will the rewards I earn from Oct 16-Nov 15 be available to me by Nov 30? I only got the card for the great offer, and dont plan on using it after the trip, but dont know when I should stop using it so I get all my rewards for this trip. When should I do my reward card? do I do it online or call chase, and how long does it take to get it? TIA

Your rewards dollars should post to your account within a week of your closing date. That means that you should have time to put them on your rewards card prior to your trip. You should stop making charges to your Disney VISA by Nov. 15th if you don't want to leave any rewards dollars in the account.

You can order your rewards card now and it will certainly arrive in time for your trip. It can be done via phone or online. Either way, it will take about 10 days to arrive. The card and all rewards dollars on it will expire on Dec. 31, 2006. My advise would be to not put all your existing rewards dollars on that card. You will need a minimum of 10 rewards dollars to make your final transfer in November. I usually leave 10 in my account for this purpose and transfer all my rewards dollars at the last possible chance.

Luck you to be going in Nov/Dec! We were there at that time in 2001. It's a very magical time to be in WDW.

Here is what I did and plan to do for our Nov trip. I ordered my rewards card with $300 transfered to it (left over 50 that I didn't transfer) on 7-8. I ordered it online and it said it should arrive by 7-21 and I know I got it before that. My closing date is the 18th so my rewards should be posted by the 23rd when we leave, when I checked this month they were there by the 20th. I'll start checking my account online from the 20th everyday and transfer the rest of my rewards when they post.

If you don't have your card yet order it now so you have it but don't put all your $$ on it so you have the minimum left to transfer them all in Nov. The card will take a week or two to be mailed to you but after that it only takes a few minutes to "load" it with your transfered rewards.
