When do restaurant hours catch up to park hours?

I have early ADRs on two different nights at Tony's and LTT that are only listing as open until 6 p.m. However, Oct hours now indicate that MK is open until 9 and 10 p.m. on those nights, which I was expecting, and hoping for, because we want slightly later meals.

Disney Dining still won't let ADRs be made for later on those evenings, and their CMs - three of them now - have actually insisted, "Even if the MK is open until 9 p.m. the restaurants will probably still close at 6 p.m."

Do they really expect people to believe that Disney is going to have at least two TS restaurants in the MK dark while 20,000 guests troop by? Why do they tell people this? Doesn't it just encourage people to plan on LEAVING the parks and going to eat at the Denny's on International Drive?

Oh, and these aren't EMHs - they're regular park hours.

Since the park hours are subject to change and indeed do change sometimes, later ADRs for MK and MGM aren't opened until the park hours are finalized. It seems to be about 2-3 weeks out. I think they do two weeks of park hours at a time....you know those brochures with park hours you get at checkin?

It would be much more frustrating for guests to schedule an 8:30 dinner at CRT and then get a call saying the park hours have been shortened due to crowd estimates.

Just try back closer to your trip. Good luck. :flower:

Question. Since I will be going during the week between x-mas and New Years and we no the park will most likely be at capacity......... do you think they will open all reservation times at around 90 day mark? Anyone with experience with this? :sunny:

When I called about getting a later ADR for our October trip I was told to call back about 30 days out (beginning of Sept).

I was also told to call about 30 days out to change my dinner time at the castle only when I called back no luck as everything later was already taken NOT given up yet tho will try again tomorrow and every day till I either get the time I want or till I leave for the world.
