When do resorts get their holiday decorations up?

Hey there! We'll be there in a few weeks and just wanted to know when the resorts typically get their holiday decorations up? Thanks!!

Many will have Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving on Nov. 26th. The team that puts up the decorations cover multiple resorts so there is a lottery every year to determine the order.

There is a lottery and the order changes every year. We have been Thanksgiving Week and sometimes some of the deluxe were not done early the week but were by the time we went back later in the week.

And just keep in mind it will be less decorations than you’re used to this year. No gingerbread houses or displays at all in any of the deluxe resorts. Trees should still be going up and smaller decorations, but just be prepared.
