When do resort decorations come down?

we're considering a last minute "long weekend" trip to the world from 1/1 to 1/6 as a Christmas present surprise for the kids and were wondering if we'd still get to enjoy the decorations?

I would like to know also. It would be a shame to take them down so soon after New Years Day.

I know in the past they were up for the Marathon. However this year the Marathon is later (January 12th and 13th) and I think I read they would be down by the 6th of January. I wish they would leave them up - we just loved seeing them.

thanks for the thread... looks like if we want to see any specific decorations, we need to make it a priority at the beginning of our trip (i'm thinking whispering canyon for dinner our first night and maybe 1900 PF for breakfast our second day!)

Resort decorations start coming down shortly after 1/1. So, I'd plan my resort visits for the first couple of days of your stay.
