When do our APs expire?

We have no idea, and no idea how to find out. It would be nice to be able to find out. We have a trip coming up in 2 weeks, and our APs are linked to MDE so we made our FP+s. So can we find out somehow in the MDE?

Turns out mine expires in a little over a month, and yet, I haven't gotten any kind of mailing or offer to renew. DH's doesn't expire until February. So at least we're comfortable for this trip.

Correctly an annual pass expires at the close of business (possibly 29:59) for the same month and day a year after the AP was activated. There are some irregularities, notably when an AP is renewed, the new expiration date is the same month and day the previous AP expired. And, different rules are used to compute said "anniversary month and day" for special "13 month APs, " Feb 29 (anniversary is Feb, 28 in non-leap years) etc.

Normally a new (non-renewal) AP is activated when you make the purchase at or present an advance AP purchase voucher at a Disney ticket booth, except that advance purchase vouchers are not sold at Orlando Int'l Airport.

An AP can expire in the middle of a resort stay. You would have the choice of renewing the AP or using regular tickets for the rest of the stay. You have plus/minus 30 days to renew an AP although if it expires when you are down there you must renew on the spot if you want to use the renewal immediately.

I can and have used my AP on the expiration day several times. And when I have, I've gotten comments from CMs at the turnstiles a few times about what a smart thing it was to get my money's worth.
